C.J. Sage Strip Trivia 1) Why didn't Walt pay Skinner back when he got his wallet? 2) Why didn't Chris want Skinner to leave? 3) Who did Skinner put in charge of looking into the museum robberies? |
After developing characters I liked, I set out to develop a story. In the summer of '96, I began to write a story I liked with comedy, and adventure. In the mean time I trying to find a new look for Walt, and below are the results. Look familiar?
![]() Anyway, I found a new Walt look that I liked, and I had an story I liked, I was ready to start drawing. I began drawing the story out on big stiff pieces of paper, and I wasn't drafting, so each page I drew was the final (I posted a copy of one of those pages in my 10-97 newsletter). Eventually, after eight full pages, and half of the ninth, my dad suggested that I draft each strip, draw each individual panel on a separate piece of paper, use the computer to color and touch them up, and maybe even put my comics on a website. At first I wasn't so hot on the idea, but after I realized the possibilities I thought it was pretty neat. So, I began drafting my strips and working on the finals. Finally, I completed three strips, and began learning html, and making my pages. Then, on March 8, 1997 I uploaded my webpage with three strips to a compuserve page. Soon after, it was switched to tinfoil.com/cj. Since then I have continued to work on drafting and putting out a strip each week (sometimes I've missed weeks). I now am currently on page 11, and I hope for this story to be around 60 pages. So, I still have a lot to go, but I'll get there, and I don't have to stick to just one strip a week. Well, that's all for this Behind the Scenes, see you next time.

Walt asked Dag for his wallet back, and got it . . . but with no money. Walt asks Dag where his money is, but Dag tells him that there was none. Skinner assures Walt that he can pay him next time, and then begins to leave. Chris asks Skinner to stay, because he wants to talk to him and Albert. They go to Albert's office to talk. . . .
