Russell Hunting's popular "Casey" format, of 'how not to'-themed comedy sketches, was often imitated.   Around 1900, James H. White recorded Casey material for Edison (Hunting had moved to England).   In 1905, John Kaiser became the voice of Casey for Edison records.
