From 1901, a musical vaudeville skit by Len Spencer - The Musical Moke.
|
Len Spencer performs this popular selection from the Columbia Phonograph Company's catalog of vaudeville selections, from which customers before the days of motion pictures and long before radio or television could purchase various skits & specialties and then piece together their own home phonograph-based vaudeville entertainment programs.
The odd sounds at the beginning & end of the recording are artifacts from the one-at-a-time record duplicating process from the master cylinder.
